Its gonna be IMPOSSIBLE to run.

This is the neatest thing I’ve seen today and definitely teeters on “WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT?!”

In any given car chase from the cops there is an incredible amount of danger both to the officers in pursuit and to other motorists they might pass. The company StarChase has created a mountable tracking projectile that, with the help of laser aim, can be shot onto the runaway car and track it through GPS on a secure connection. This allows officers to back off from the high speed chase and allow operators to track the vehicle through the radio tracking device. Officers will be able to see where the suspect is headed and this will make it easier to create road blocks ahead and such without endangering anyone else in the process.

I’m for it. Although, I prefer my idea which is a device that if a car is stolen/running from the cops it just blows up…but I suppose that creates NUMEROUS liabilities. WAHH.

I’m gonna use that shit to track my boyfriends when it becomes cheap enough for the everyday person. He wont be goin NOWHERE without my knowledge. YEAH! CRAZY GIRLS UNITE!

One Response to “Its gonna be IMPOSSIBLE to run.”

  1. Technology gives us hope. We had that hope in the 1930’s with the advent of the two-way radio; still today the best — and most under-utilized — weapon we have in the fight against police chases. Then came other devices, such as stop sticks, spike strips, computers, helicopters, OnStar, GPS, etc. Even with our best and most-promising technological advances, we cannot underestimate the human element when it comes to police chases because it is still the major factor and reason why police chases kill on average three innocent bystanders each week and injure thousands annually right here in the United States .
